BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Each health council receives direction from a volunteer board of directors made up of consumers, providers and purchasers of health care. The members are appointed by the Boards of County Commissioners for the respective counties. The two boards retain an executive director to implement policy and coordinate activities.


The Health Council of West Central Florida Board includes:

Board meetings are held bi-monthly on the second Wednesday of the month usually in Tampa.  SHC Board meets from 11:30 a.m. to noon.  The two Boards meet jointly from noon to 1:00 p.m.  HCWCF Board meets from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.  
The Board of Directors meetings are open to the public.
