The Health Councils, Inc. (THC) exists as an impartial focal point for the study of health and human service issues at the local level. The agency facilitates the open and objective discussion of community issues and brings a big picture perspective to the process. The Council works collaboratively with other community organizations and government agencies to improve the service delivery system and create innovative programs.
The Health Councils partners with and provides services to government agencies, community based organizations, healthcare facilities, healthcare consumers, health advocacy groups through contracts and grants. Services provided by THC staff include:

Staff members of The Health Councils have advanced degrees and extensive experience in public health, education, community planning, research techniques and survey design, database design, health education, collaborative techniques, grants management, policy analysis and volunteer recruitment and retention.
